We showed you the other day how to change the time server in Ubuntu Linux in .
But then I realised that MySQL server was not using the updated time, why was that???
Well, remember, that if you would like the change in linux time to affect MySQL server, you have to restart MySQL server
service mysql restart
and then it will use the same time as the linux server.
If you need to change the timezone of your server, just run this simple command
It will guide you through a menu to select the geographical zone and the time of your preference.
